Tiger Woods has showed that he is now back on form as he won the Buick Open title. He won by a massive three shots at Warwick Hills and it has left him eager for more.
In the final round he was one shot ahead of the pack and he birdied the fourth, seventh and 16th holes. He later parred the rest for a three under 69. He finished the tournament on an incredible 20 under par and is now firmly in place at the World number one top spot!
Roland Thatcher had a great final round with a 64 and had a fantastic eight birdies to take a tied second place with Greg Chalmers and John Senden. Michael Letzig had a disappo inting final round when he was one shot behind Woods and had a final round of 73.
This was Wood's 69th PGA win and there are only two other people who have won more. Sam Snead and Jack Nicklaus have both won more and Tiger looks as if he wants to chase the title.
At one point there was some concern as Woods hit his ball into the green protecting lake on the 13th. However this was a par five and he later put a wedge to four feet to save this could be disastrous hole. Letzig was playing with Woods and had a bad final round with a double bogey at the par three eighth.
