Today other UKGF member Martyn and I played 18 holes at Lickey Hill in Birmingham. Before Martyn pops in and posts the scores I need to get in first and point out that I played with a pulled muscle in my neck and painful wrist :D. I also managed to find out when I got home that I was actually playing with clubs back to front .
Seriously, I did play appallingly bad but it was still fun. I'll now hand over to Martyn to gloat about his victory!

In reply to Ozzy's post I would just like to say with the deepest sympathy "LOSER!!!!". lol:D.
To be serious, I would like to thank him for travelling down the motorway to Birmingham. The weather held and play commenced, course maps were sadly not available so my local knowledge and Sky caddie came in useful.
In my opinion the lickey Hills course is a very good test of skill for the amature player with harsh penalties for wayward shots and testing fairways and greens. Playing to your handicap on this course is not easy especially on your first visit and Ozzy played like a trooper, deserving to score lower even though he nearly got me into a fight on the thirteenth Tee, Lol (what fun). I throughly enjoyed our game and await the rematch over his way later in the year. I would have told him his clubs were back to front but he hit better that way as it balanced out his bad neck and wrist.;)
